This mosque is designed based on the Southeast Asian pyramidal roof style, known as "tajug" or sometimes "meru," and is replete with the traditional symbolism of Islam. The three-tiered roof represents the metaphysical ideas from Islamic philosophy. The geometry of the mosque's layout is divided by six pillars, creating five structural bays, symbolizing the Five Tenets and Six Pillars of Islam. Two courtyard gardens are placed between the buildings, influenced by Quranic verses from Ar-Rahman.
The lower wall of the main prayer hall is constructed of masonry, while the upper parts of the hall are built with fine Malay craftsmanship using timber. While adhering to tradition, the mosque design complies with modern standards and requirements. The ventilation is a hybrid system that combines natural ventilation with air-conditioning. The air-conditioning compressors are integrated into the façade and concealed from view.
The mosque has three entrances, two for each gender, and one universal entrance. Additionally, two ramps ensure universal accessibility.
